India Asian Games

The Asian Games, also known as Asiad, is a multi-sport event held every four years among athletes from all over Asia. The event is organized by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and features a wide range of sports, both traditional and modern.

India has a rich history of participation in the Asian Games. The country first competed in the inaugural Asian Games held in New Delhi in 1951. Since then, India has consistently taken part in these games.

As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, the most recent Asian Games were held in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia, in 2018. In those games, India won a total of 69 medals, including 15 gold, 24 silver, and 30 bronze medals. India performed well in disciplines like athletics, shooting, wrestling, and boxing, among others.

Please note that if you are inquiring about the Asian Games that took place after September 2021, I won't have information on them. You might want to check the latest news sources or official sports organizations for updates.
